My Career in Dentistry started in 1984 as a trainee dental nurse. I qualified and achieved my NEBDN in 1989. I gained my radiography qualification in 1991 with a distinction and my sedation qualification a couple of years later.
I enjoy my job role, I’m primarily responsible for ordering all the stock and emergency drugs for the practice. I liaise with reps and companies on the dentist’s behalf to find out about the latest technology and materials being used. Another part of this role is making sure the COSHH file is up to date and all safety data sheets are in place and that staff are aware of the procedures to follow in case of an incident.
I achieved an NVQ in customer care which I feel I use when I’m working in reception
Clarence Road Dental Care is a lovely place to work with a kind and caring team.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, live music, going to gigs and football. I try and go to as many games as possible to support my local team.
