Tracey Allcock

Hi, my name is Tracey, I started as a trainee dental nurse in 1981 and qualified in NEBDN in 1988.

I then joined Clarence Road Dental Care in 1989 where I furthered my knowledge and studied radiography which I passed with a distinction.

As a long-standing member at the practice my role now is mainly reception, I gained an NVQ in customer care which I feel has been essential for the day to day running of the reception and dealing with patient’s queries and concerns. As a Dental Receptionists, I work at the ‘front line’ of the dental practice, as the first point of contact over the phone or on arrival. Booking in new patients, greeting visitors, sorting out appointments and undertaking other non-clinical tasks of an administrative nature. After all the years at the practice I’ve built up a good relationship with the patients and enjoy the rapport we have.

I enjoy being part of the team and feel we all have a caring nature and put our patient’s needs first.

Out of work my dog Monty takes most of my time, we spend our weekends taking long walks in the countryside and camping. I love live music and socializing with friends and family.
