Good dentist with very odd layout of rooms. Some are up stairs which means you leave the building and walk round and up a steep stairs case. The surgeries are all housed in an old house. So rooms are often odd stapes or sizes. Clean and efficient. It seeing a dentist upstairs then it is a trip outside back to reception to book next appointment.

Just registered here as an NHS patient as I wanted a town centre one I could walk to. Love it here! All the staff are so lovely, and the dentist is soooo much more gentle than my previous dentist! My teeth have never looked better!

This dentist was amazing, they got me in on a Saturday as I had been trying to get a dentist for weeks because of the pain I was inn and this was the only one that was just interested in my wellbeing.Receptionist was very nice and helpful and polite.Had a molar out no pain and had the best night's sleep in weeks.I would like to become a regular.Top quality service.Well done.Chris.

I attended this dental practice after 111 gave me an emergency appointment due to pain and swelling, I had X-rays and a check and it was my dying tooth needed a root canal. I was booked in and I was incredibly nervous, on the day of my root canal, I came in, informed the receptionist how nervous I was… she was lovely and very reassuring (I’m 37, I felt silly but had a bad experience 20 years prior) when I went in, I wasn’t even sure I could do it, the dentist Jeahun Lee was incredibly patient, reassuring and understanding. Once I was numbed I relaxed a little and xrays, teeth cleaning and root canal was over and done with in 45 minutes, and it was virtually painless! Suffice to say my fear of dentists has been resolved ☺️ Thank you so much to all.

Had my first visit today 20.02 - two really friendly receptionist (Divya - I think was her name).. then a slight deley in seeing me but they was really apologetic. Had a great experience with my dentist. Really helpful, polite and answered my million questions. The clean that she did was the least painful ones I’ve ever had. Clear next steps and clear plan for future meetings. Back to reception to book my future one. Happy to have found you. Thank you for a great first experience.

Been to have composite bonding by jacqui .made me feel very comfortable both jacqui and the dental nurse are lovely. Comfortable while doing the work .wen all done the results all i can say is just wowsers they look amazing🤩 .jacqui mentioned they will feel diffrent and if ajustments needed just get in touch whitch is a big confidence in its self .so wot im getting at is not just exelent results but exelent after care this for me means a lot. If you wanting composite bonding dont hesitate she is brilliant.would highly recomend

Room where you see Dentist very clean and new. Other areas in old building could do with a refurb. Having said this appointment was timely very little waiting. The dentist and dental nurse were friendly, gave advice and very professional. I had a clean whilst at the appointment and it’s the best I’ve ever had. Would recommend practice and Thankyou for your excellent service.

Had my teeth done by Jackie who is amazing and had done such a good job at a reasonable price. I had my teeth done before by a private dentist and paid double the amount and i can honestly say Jackie’s work is ten times better!. She does not for one minute rip people off or try and over charge like most dentist do, she ensures that you are more then satisfied as a customer and puts your needs first! I would 1000% recommend jackie to anyone who wants to improve there smile and does not have to break the bank to do this. I have never had any issues with my teeth since Jackie has done these and i am constantly in for a reviews without waiting six months for an appointment.Cannot thank jackie enough and the team at this dentist!:)

There are very mixed reviews but my visit 2 days ago was fine . I entered the original Reception which is a bit tatty , paid the pleasant staff and was directed around the corner, newly extended. Again the entrance poor . Waiting room average but the “ new clinic” very smart and the 3 Staff very pleasant. My “ check up” was done by “ Hygienist Sreya , who was excellent , in her Professional manner . The included “clean and polish” was one of the best received. This Dentist practice just needs a tidy up.

Absolutely brilliant service. I was referred to this dental surgery for an emergency appointment through the NHS 111 service. The receptionists were both very professional and polite. The dentist and his colleagues in the clinical room were so kind and efficient and made the whole experience a positive one.They checked all my teeth, took an x/ray of the tooth causing the excruciating pain and immediately extracted the tooth.I was so nervous and they were so understanding and empathetic. Thank you to the amazing team. I definitely recommend this dental surgery any without hesitation.

I had a scale/polish and checkup today. The female dentist gave very helpful and achievable advice to improve my daily dental hygiene. Taking the time to show me which teeth need more attention to avoid future pain! Felt in safe hands and best dental experience I've had in years!

This used to be an excellent dental surgery. Unfortunately the dentists don't seem to have the same professional conduct as the past dentists did. It is apparently acceptable to say that NHS patients aren't allowed to get quality treatment. NHS patients must accept ill fitted plates and unmatched colour teeth on their plate and be happy. I've been at this practice for over about 15 years and been treated with respect and to notch service. Now I'm made to feel like I'm not good enough for acceptable care. Disgusting treatment.

I see that the practice gets very mixed reviews, but for me and my little family the experience so far was outstanding; granted no serious interventions so far, so cannot judge about that, but hygiene, general checkups, and wisdom teeth extraction all went very smooth and professional. The wait times are somewhat on a longer side, but that's an NHS issue in general, not the practice's :)

Coming twice for nothing, first time I was told my dentist had family problems and had to go home, send time I was told my appointment is going to be longer then I was booked for. Also dentist doesn’t sound confident of the result after filling my root canal. So overall bad impression!

Had a same day urgent appointment on a Saturday, was seen to within 5 minutes and was treated very well, and asked if I was nervous about dental work and everything was explained to me very clearly and what my options were. Joined the waiting list 9 months ago. Popped in today to find out what the status was. We were told six months. The blonde young receptionist (13.9.25) was very rude and without saying sorry I’ll be with you in a minute, just didn’t look up. Was stood for ten minutes. Without any explanation just said yeah it’s 12 months now. She spoke to me very condescending. Why isn’t the practice updating people. I find it to be very unprofessional. To tell us 6 months then just not bother getting in contact. This practice should not be registered on the NHS website as taking new patients. They clearly are not and wasted a significant amount of time that we could have been on a practice that is excepting patients onto a waiting list.

I had an emergency appointment here yesterday as my own dentist couldn't fit me in. Im a nervous patient and I cannot thank the dentist ( I only know as Lee) and the nurse who looked after me. They were so understanding and really put me at ease as it turned out it was a wisdom tooth I was in agony with. Lee extracted my tooth so quickly with no pain whatsoever. I am so grateful for the empathy shown and I am seriously considering changing my dentist to Clarence Road. I would 💯 highly recommend them.

Terrible dentist. Was seen fast don’t get me wrong, but I was in and out within 8 minutes, the dentist was extremely rough, he jabbed me in my gum with the sharp tool the use, and when “cleaning” my teeth he only did the bottom to which he dragged the spinning tool across my gum line and cut my mouth in multiple places, to the point I now have an infection in my gum, puss and blood coming out! This was my first appointment and I will NOT be returning.

It used to be a wonderful practice, until the takeover. Repeatedly cancelled our appointments, via a text that said they'd be in touch to rebook (they didn't, we had to ring them). Rarely been seen by/booked in with the same dentist twice. I've also been subjected to some very long waits in the waiting room (the longest was an hour) with no apology from the dentist. I was made to feel I should be grateful for being seen at all, despite paying for Denplan Care. No longer receiving a scale and polish as part of check-ups, despite this being listed as part of the 'Care' level of cover. We've left.

I had an infection and required dental treatment to remove my teeth, shahid the dentist talked through me through the whole procedure, and made sure I was calm and he was very professional and extracted the tooth within 10 mins thank you Shahid you did an amazing job. Firstly I'll say iv always had a overwhelming fear of dentists following a few bad experiences when I was a child, this led me to avoid dentists for the last 15 years leaving my teeth in a terrible state. I'm now 31 and have decided I desperately need my teeth sorting. Started my journey to better teeth with Clarence road Dental around 2 months ago and iv had nothing short of an amazing experience. There's no judgement over the state of my teeth, Dr Harkamal Sidhu Singh is completely understanding and takes the time to calm your nerves, a trait most dentists lack. All of my treatments have been totally and completely pain free, again a need experiences for me. Iv been through probably 15 different dentists over the years due to me being kicked out due to fear causing me to miss appointments. Clarence road is the best practice iv ever been to, and by a country mile.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with this dental practice after my 14-year-old son was referred there by NHS 111 due to severe pain, swelling, bleeding, and difficulty chewing. Despite the urgency, we waited nearly an hour before being seen.What followed was shocking: the dentist examined him and said, “I can see swelling, but I can’t see the pain. It is nothing to warrant an emergency referral.”I’m sorry, but pain is a subjective experience .if a child says he is in pain, he is in pain. Dismissing his complaint was both unprofessional and insensitive.Although they took some X-rays, there was no communication whatsoever about the next steps. I even offered to pay privately for treatment on the spot, but again, no guidance or support was offered.We left feeling completely let down and went straight to a nearby private dental clinic where we received excellent care, clear communication, and immediate treatment.This practice failed in both compassion and professionalism.I would not recommend them, especially for children in distress.

I've been in paid for the past week with my tooth and was getting so upset not being able to find a dentist.I was honestly at the point of giving up, the receptionist Tracey was lovely on the phone and managed to help me!!I've spoken to so many dentistry's and the receptionist have been quite harsh which at the moment has been killing me because I'm just trying to help my pain, but it was a breathe of fresh air talking to Tracey!!! This place actually admit to double booking!My son is currently preparing for his GCSE exams so missing valuable school time is completely unacceptable!I have several work commitments scheduled which I’ve had no option but to cancel!AVOID THID PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

I could not recommend this dental practice enough. I have been going to Dr. Sidhu for rental treatment for a number of years. I travel from coventry to chesterfield for treatment. This time and care if gives is exceptional. He explain exactly what he is doing, and why he is doing it. For someone that is very nervous about a dental treatment he is the perfect person to go to. His treatments are second to none. Today I have a filling replaced. You can't even see the new filling. It blends in with the existing tooth.

I booked an appointment for the first time at this place for myself, my missus and two daughters. After the call we received email with following time slots for each of us,16:55,17:15,17:35,17:45.Because I was becoming ill so with my respect to the dentist I had to cancel my appointment(16:55), but I said over the phone that my family will still be coming for their appointments and their time slots. My missus with kids drove there for 17:15 and receptionist (young ish blonde girl) Said that my missus late for her appointment and there is no chance for a service today because dentist went home (Sai Lakshmi Narne). I went there day after to ask who is responsible for what's happened to us and I heard from receptionist that it's not her fault and we should come early when I cancelled mine because we are family? Without any information given to me over the phone how she expecting my family to come now after my cancellation. Obviously receptionist blamed the dentist who went home and used some silly child excuses created in her imagination and was trying to blame myself as well. Also nobody rang us on that day to make sure or just ask the question ( receptionist responsibility) if we coming or if we late or anything they just decided themselves what to do. It's clearly visible who's fault it was.Very incompetent receptionist and unorganised place. We just wasted fuel and time for nothing to hear stupid excuses trying blaming us. Receptionist is the first contact and the face of any company and recruitment process supposed to be more strict.On top of that she said that if we don't like here we don't have to come here. Sorry but this advice from unprofessional and incompetent person mean nothing. I'm not a fan of putting this kind of reviews but I doing it in a good intention for others to not be surprised one day

EXTREMELY RUDE RECEPTIONIST!! Asked me if I was in any pain, I said yes and she said the dentist can’t see me as I may need root canal, I was explaining that the pain isn’t the tooth itself, it’s catching on my cheek because it’s sharp due to my filling falling out, the receptionist just put the phone down on me, I called back and managed to explain the issue and the dentist said “I put the phone down because you didn’t listen to me” rude and nasty lady! I believe her name was Jess/Jessie. Gave the dentist a poor reputation. Called the dentist at 15:38 5/08/2024. I will be calling back to speak with the manager

My son is in the process of trying to get braces for his misaligned teeth, after an appointment in July 23, we had another in September 23 for a hospital x Ray, then another 12 week wait until December 23 when all scans and pictures were taken. We were then told it would be a further 12 weeks before another orthodontist appointment for fitting ( so End of March 24).After another 4.5 months, we finally get an appointment in mid May, only its another nurse appointment and we are told the orthodontist appointment will be at least another 3 months and in August 24. It appears to me they are taking as many patients onto the books as possible, meaning huge waits for service.What's the point in taking scans and xrays in preparation for fitting if you aren't going to get round to it for a year? His teeth will have grown and moved in that time, meaning yet another set of scans and pictures and another wait...Will be going private, elsewhere. my son is upset about his teeth, and this dentist has been dragging out this process for well over a year now. Being told to expect an appointment in 12 weeks, only for it to be in 8 months is ridiculous.

Been going to this surgery my whole life and the service over the last few years has become absolutely abysmal.Last year I had to wait 8 months for an appointment only for it to be cancelled on the day then I was forced to wait an extra 2 months for another one!Then today my upcoming appointment has been cancelled once again…This, along with the fact that every time you go they are 45-60 minutes behind schedule, has made me find another practice after 25 years of going there

My mum attended her first dental appointment with this practice today - the staff are really friendly & helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble despite the fact that you could see they were busy. The dentist was outstanding - he spoke very gentle to my mum ( who is 76) and in a manner that she understood everything he said to her - a plan of care and treatment was discussed and agreed I was extremely impressed by the service my mum received today the dental nurse was extremely lovely too. As a nervous patient, I had built up a great relationship with Lynda and she helped build my confidence in having treatments, some without the need for conscious sedation. Sadly, since the retirement of the original dentists, this dentist is delivering a poor person centred service and they do not seem to be able to cater for nervous patients. The receptionists are still lovely but the dentists just want a quick turnover. No time for nervous patients. Despite the receptionists taking the time to listen to my concerns and put information on my notes and assuring me the dentist will take time to speak with me. This never transpired. They didn’t even read my note. One dentist drilled a tooth without warning and anaesthetic. Another dentist told me if I didn’t like the dentist to look and go somewhere else. So I have!

I have been attending this practice for 56 years but today was the worst ever experience. I saw Shahid who was hard selling treatments and totally contradicting Mr Singh’s previous advice. If I hadn’t pressed for a scale and polish he wouldn’t have done one; this was always done as part of my check ups with the previous owners. Shahid still insisted I see the dental hygienist. The receptionist told me the hygienist would do a scale and polish which I’d just had - but for a further £44! What is going on with this practice? So disappointed.

Underwhelming service as a denplan patient. Seeing a different dentist every time, with little confidence in each since the retirement of the original and very capable dentist I first signed up with. Little understanding regarding sensitive teeth which makes my visits very difficult and dreaded. They don't even have a hygienist. Not best pleased to be honest.

Have spent a lot of time in the last 3 days trying to get through on the phone without success to cancel an appointment I had today. The website link doesn't work and there's no email address apart from one I found as a reply to a review. The dentist was clearly still expecting me as he rang and left a voicemail. I rang back immediately but apparently the surgery is closed. Very frustrating for both of us I would imagine. Don't know what else to try to contact them. I live a long way away and can't call in in person as my car has broken down.

I have never had such a bad experience. the staff was of a rudeness that no one can imagine. they lost my recording and while I was explaining what happened they hung up the phone. Before starting a job, learn education and then also learn how to work.
